Can a movie with stars such as Mel Gibson, Milla Jovovich and Jimmy Smits, bomb? While this movie tries to wrap itself under a blanket of the sweatness of life, it is more accurately about a people who just never got up out of bed period. It is about a people who never truly lived, and valued their lives accordingly. Does anyone want their own life to become as degraded and depraved as theirs is portrayed? The only people who can answer "yes," are those who've already wasted their life on drugs and similar degradations. Life is about overcoming obstacles and experiencing dreams come true, not about underachieving and life thrown away. |
