I had to go see this movie for a history class when I was an undergrad student and boy, am I glad they made me go see this! This movie does a perfect job of portraying the fear and paranoia associated with the Cold War and the tension on both sides during the Cuban Missle Crisis. The actors that play the Kennedys are excellent. Costner is strong as well and balances his performance nicely with the other actors. Cosnter doesn't hog the camera, nor does he hide in the shadows. Great action, great drama...
This movie's tagline is right: YOU'LL NEVER KNOW HOW CLOSE WE CAME!
