It does not surprise me that this movie is so well done. It does not surprise me that the acting the the film was superb. It also does not surprise me that not too many people went to see this film-and that's an absolute shame.
This film is excellently done-and details some of the main events durin October of 1962 during the Cuban Missle Crisis. It brings you right in, and allows you to sympathize and identify with all of the members of the White House. I cannot enough that it must be seen-not only for its historical value-but also for its entertainment value. Not a 'thriller' in the normal sense of the word-since we now know that the world is still around-but it does not stop you from wondering 'what if'?
Again, its a shame that there are not a ton of people that went to go see this film (as is evident by the # of reviews here). If you can-rent the movie. You won't be disappointed. |
