What a gorgeous movie!
Johnny as a gypsy.......well, let me just say, even with John Tutturro's(sp?) suprisingly great opera voice, and his supporting cast (who did marvelous!)..no one compared to Johnny's steamy looks and heart felt emotions.....
again he's stolen the show....without hardly saying 10 words through the whole of it.!!!!
Catherine's acting was superb, and Christina did very well, but I must say, if I was her character, I would have immersed myself in her much more!
I just didn't connect with her feelings througout the film.
She could do better.
And with a partner like Johnny.......
jeez, how much more perfect could it get?
I still cry at the end and watch it over and over, but usually I fast forward to all Johnny's scenes, as he's the main ingredient for it being outstanding! |
