Blow is completely centered around its protagonist George Jung. Actor Johnny Depp is excellent in portraying a cocky but likeable international cocaine dealer. Since Depp's character also narates the entire movie the viewer identifys with him and is yearning for revenge throughout most of the movie, which is never fully satisfyed. Jung was stabbed in the back by almost everyone he knew including his wife and mother. Through a very thick story of drug smuggling,friends, enemies, a partying the story comes to a perfect T at the end when the only concern becomes Jung's daughter. The ending is very depressing but it stays with you. So...what do you know about cocaine? |
