holy crap. this film literally blows your socks off right from the beginning, and never stops. it's over the top in every single way, and it just gets better and better. it's almost sad that it's a musical, as there are legions of macho men out there that would never take the chance to see this film, and it is such a mind-trip that they'd probably end up loving it. one thing i promise: you won't fall asleep in this film. ewan is OK, nicole just shines, but the real credit goes to Baz (the director), who somehow concoted this crazy masterpiece in his head. |
