How can I put words into sentence for this movie ? In short I can say that this movie is superb. Althought it had some negative things like prostitutes and so on (you can have details in critics' reviews) but Moulin Rouge had many great things, such as: romance, humour, songs with beautiful lyrics.
If any of you had seen "Sounds of music" before, you may recognize that in the opening part of the movies, the short guy was dressing as a nun and then Christian began to sing the song "Sounds of music" - (the hills are alive with the sounds of music...). Just put those thing into logic, then at that time, the short guy was gonna play Julie Andrew part in "the sound of music"...funny, right ? You may spot many funny things during the movies.
I love this movie because its romantic story. Maybe it is just a sum of other 3 stories (again, read the critics' reviews for details), but it touched me.
Because I am not native English so my review may be not gramatically right or may confuse you but the things I want to say is (as my conclusion): Watch this movie, it should be rated as a must seen. I don't know why they rated B+ for it, it should be A+ |
