This probably could've been a decent movie had it not turned out to be so mean spirited and vile.It has decent actors but they don't deliver decent performances.Dare I say that this is Kevin Bacon's worst role to date.He plays an arrogant scientist who's come up with a way to make himself invisible.Instead of doing good with his invisibility he chooses to do evil,playing a little touchy feely and then murdering off his collegues one by one.Interesting twist on the old Invisible man schtick but it doesn't work.This film takes all the wrong steps,turning into a tasteless and violent action film that really has no point.I don't mind violence but this film really struck the wrong chord with me.The visuals are o.k. but the acting stinks, the dialogue is laughably bad-especially Bacon and Elisabeth Shue's.The climax is unexciting and dumb.Didn't impress me one bit. Very poor effort on an interesting premise. |
