Snow White was a direct impact in animation!

Snow White is probably one of the most well known Disney movies. I still go back to watching it now and then, and admire the amount of effort that went into the film.
It was release in 1937, and set the grounds for future advancements in animation. It also put Disney one a greater scale. Disney showed the world his brilliance with Steamboat Willie, however, marked his name in lights with Snow White. Considering each cel was painted by hand is quite extraordinary. Disney movies now can never be as appreciated, knowing that a click of the mouse can develop the same color as a stroke of a hand. Snow White had warmth.
Personally, I don't find Snow White would do well at all, if it were to come out now in theatres. The story for the most part is pretty basic, and Snow White didn't really have the personality that many of the Disney princess's have in other movies. However, concidering the brilliance it brought to the screen, beiing the first full lenth animated film, Snow White deserves the highest respect amongst movie watchers.
