The first JP was a great yarn about the effects of man versus nature. It had a potent amount of action, humor, FX and (somewhat) believable characters. The inevitable sequel was quite a bit more hollow with the FX shots simply tweaked up a little. Then there was this one. Without really adding anything new to the series, we're left to hope that this franchise stays extinct. Not a bad movie...but certainly not a good one either. |
