on any given day i can pick up a newspaper and read what some opinionated idiot has to say about any given movie, however, when i read what people write about house, it really pisses me off. Ignorance is bliss i suppose. If you would leave your right wing religous beliefs at the door when watching this movie, you would potentially see a work of brillance. This movie isn't supposed to be a work of modern art, moreso, its supposed to be a throwback to the cult classics. Take a minute to watch the brillant scenes of chaos which just run full circle in conjunction with any Rob Zombie video. If you had no sense of pleasure from this movie, then you have made it painfully obvious that you were a sheltered child and never experemented with drugs. Mainly people disliked this movie because it lacked the fairy tale ending like all the happy morons of this world want. Guess what.......life doesn't always have a happy ending, and thankfully, Rob Zombie has the balls to show that to the rest of the world. Good storyline that takes you back to a time when slasher films were truly a work of art. |
