I understand the skeptics--but let me explain...

So many pros & so many cons. Lets try to sort thru the madness. Here are my cons. Tight fitting outfits & letting complete strangers putting the orals on you in your kitchen with your husband outside...& going for bike rides with someone you dont know--on your husband's motocycle...having sex with a total stranger in your hottub all out in the open with all your neighbors watching (unless youre just a freak like that)...Wanya as a gangsta with Mekhi slappin buddy around like a P.A.B...I know Wanya got a extra mil for each slap.
As for the pros, Mari Marrow is quite delicious in this one...so is Melinda Williams (you gotta love this girl)..the twists and turns get a little crazy but its all in good fun. Mel Jackson is my brotha man, I think he was convincing as the "by any means" husband/dreamer trying to make it big, even if you let some stranger drop it off in your wife. The parts where Wanya keepin it real before his final scene was cool (almost moving) & Tre was cool too, but he was a little over the top (Buddy could have swung that board over Mekhi's head or sumthin but DAMN he punked out). But I think this was a better film than most people give it credit for.
Oh yeah, one more con...what the hell was Kim Fields thinkin with that shotgun? You suppose to be faster with that man DAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAMN!!!!! |
