Jason Vorhees is back in Part 8: Jason Takes Manhattan to slaughter more teens. A graduating class is about to take a cruise to New York, and Jason tags along as a stowaway. Jason randomly kills off the teens one by one and then sinks the ship. The remaining five survivors make it to New York in the last 30 minutes of the film, while Jason swims after them. More brutal deaths occur, as Jason slaughters the rest of the crew except Rennie and her boyfriend (forgot the guy's name), as Jason drowns in toxic waste in the sewer. The black kid named Julius was the only one who managed to throw numerous shots on Jason, but tires hilmself out, while the hockey-masked killer is still standing tall. Julius asks Jason to take his best shot, and Jason decapitates him with one punch. A good sequel that I thought was better than most sequels, though I was pissed when Julius and Eva were killed off. |
