Jason was cool as sh*t in the movie. He looked more slimy and zombie-like than any other in the series. As far as the movie goes. ehhhhhhh...it was ok. Could have been better. The violence was too toned down and the effects of the corpses and death scenes were a little too unrealistic. Especially, when the girl finds the head in the bed, it looked like something made in a 3rd grade art class. The telepathic girl was aite and she did have a good battle with Jason in the end, esp. the basement scene with the fire. This is the only one where Jason uses a gigantic chain-saw. Interesting characters in the movie too who you loved to hate and wanted to see die like the rich-snobby b**ch, the demented psychiatrist who wanted to control Tina, and half the teens at that birthday party. Although Sandra, the blond-naked chick was pretty F**ken HOT. The introduction of telepathy into the movie can go in either direction as far as in accordance with the other Friday movies. The Jason sound was used much like in the older movies. A couple kill scenes were really kicked *ss. I think the body-count was high. NO STALKIN Jason in this one, just a straight up kill one by one. An ok movie in the series, not much suspense, but still fun to watch even if your not a Jason fan. The last of the true "teenagers die at Camp Crystal lake" part of the Jason series. |
