This movie was the next suspenseful thing to Friday 1 and 2. Unlike, part 3, even though Jason wear's the mask, you only see click climpses of his face, which brings the effects of the mystery killer. This Friday, definitely had the best special effects, and some of the coolest killing scenes like the girl getting stabbed in the shadow of the lightning on the house. The pace of this movie was cool, it tended to get a little slow to the point ya didnt know this was a Jason movie. If Jason wasn't such a cool boogeyman, this would have been a perfect end to the series. Jason getting defeated by Tommy in the shadown of his former self. Acting was best on the part of Tommy, the older sister, Glover's character, Teddy(the wise-ass friend of Crispin Glovers), and the hot dark-haired chick who was first out of the friends to die. The beginning with the couple in the morgue was creepy but a little drawn out like part 3's beginning. The end was good and suspenseful, especially the machete battle between Jason and Trish(the sister). The music was aite. The long gap of the missing Jason in the movie was also cool in a way because you know he's coming but when and where will he strike first. Plus, this is the last movie where Jason is half-alive.
