This one was filmed in 3D and I actually saw it at the theaters in 1982. Believe me, it's a lot more fun in 3D, especially when one of the moronic characters gets his eyeballs squished out of his head by You-Know-Who. An eyeball seemed to land right in my lap....SWEET! Here is our introduction to Jason wearing his iconic hockey mask. He's not even the killer in Part I, and in Part II, he's wearing a potato sack over his head, with one eye cut out...now that's creepy!...and now, in part three, is where we get Jason in all of his iconic glory. Too bad the film has exhausted itself with the same story told ad nauseum. Still...if you're an F13 fan, I'd recommend it. You'll be able to spot right away where we as an audience are supposed to be wooed by the 3D effects...too bad the lingering shots only look ridiculous when they're not in 3D. But somehow, you'll be able to get past this, and enjoy Jason hacking away as usual. |
