Plus-Casting was good with Mel Gibson and Helen Hunt as the leads. Marisa Tomei was great in the supporting role. The film has a classic feel to it regarding the romance and comedy. The musical score and songs that were chosen was above average.
Minus-The story got silly near the end and just kind of dumb with Hunt being Gibson's hero and Gibson being rescued. The subplot with Emily the office worker was pointless. This idea of this movie (A man being able to read women's thoughts) had a lot more comedic and romantic potential. |
