Nick Marshall's, played by Mel Gibson, background has not exactly been the typical one. As a young tyke, he was surrounded by show girls in Vegas. While that made for a fun upbringing, it did not teach him respect for women. Lack of respect (among other things) causes him a lot of problems in his adulthood. He has a failed marriage to prove that. One day, a special gift turns his world inside out, upside down, & eventually around.

Men, imagine yourselves being able to read a woman's mind. Sure it would come in handy in bed, but it would also help you outside of the bedroom as well. Nick discovers a whole different side of himself as he grows with his gift. Ironically enough, the woman at the coffee shop he's been eyeing is not the woman he ultimately wants. "Darth Vadar" Darcy Maguire, played by Helen Hunt, catches his eye & captures his heart in this heart-warming tale of awakening, growth, & love.

I have to add that watching Mel Gibson stumbling around in nylons, put on make-up, paint his nails, etc., is absolutely hilarious. One of the funniest scenes in the movie is the one where his daughter & her boyfriend catch her father Nick in a bra & panty hoes. I was rolling around on the couch with tears running down my face.

What I want is to watch What Women Want again & again. Folks, we have a real winner here!
