Not a gore fest. Not a shock fest. Not even a strong story driven peice. And it is all about the crime. What it really is, though, is one helluva good, chilling movie. And they don't pull punches as my 'not a gore fest' implies. You see the violence. It's just that the director really does take you along this nightmare that makes you wonder long after if this could happen to you and more importantly makes you play in your head ways to defend against it. Why? Because he makes it all so possible, so accessable to you and me, that you have to ponder the possibility. A terrific, fast movie. |
