X the movie...WHY!?

If you're going to make a movie based on a comic you don't make it when only ten volumes are out and the story is barely underway. That's the problem with the X movie. X TV, on the other hand, happens to be one of my favorite anime of all time. The only thing good about the movie was probably the visuals. The fact that two of my favorite characters kill each other off in the first five minutes of the movie just pissed me off especially when their fate is nothing like it's supposed to be. There's just no way you can fit 14+ characters into a one-two hour movie. It just doesn't work. That's what an anime SERIES is for. I just have to wonder, "What were they thinking?" |
