While not the highest budget of movies, the story is still interesting with a nice twist to it, of you're into the kind of thing. It's more inventive than the usual slasher flick, although the cheese factor gets really high at times. Overall though, the concept is quite smart, with some scenes that deliver quite well. The movie is not really "scary" whatsoever, but intriquing enough to keep you entertained for an hour and a half. If more money and time had been invested into it perhaps,(including parts of the script and special effects) than this could've been up there with the "hellraisers" and "nightmare on elm street) series.
Never saw the sequels, but I doubt they stack up to this. |
