Shaolin Temple is a great example of beautiful martial arts. If you ever wondered what great kung fu looks like without the wires, blue screens and quick flashy cut scenes then this movie is for you. This is Jet Li's first movie and, if you know anything about his career, you can definitely see the wushu influences in his movements. For me though, the real star of the movie is Master Pan Qing Fu. He plays the evil general and you will notice him from the huge callouses on his knuckles.
The acting is horrible but that's to be expected. |
