Goodfellas begins with a young Henry Hill and his fasination about the Mafia. The story mainly focuses on his life and how he developes at the end. The character of Henry Hill is played by Ray Liotta(Blow,Narc) who adds that certain part that the film needs, and his presence makes the movie enjoyable to watch. Playing the Mafia big shot is Robert De Niro(Taxi Driver, Raging Bull) who played the part of Jimmy Conway so well that he deserved an oscar for his performance. Joe Pesci(My Counsin Vinny, Lethal Weapon) adds to the movie playing the pyscho Tommy in his Academy Award winning performance. Loraine Boracco, who also deserved an oscar plays Liotta's estranged wife and also Paul Sorvio playing as the Don type character. This is a must buy if you enjoyed any other Mafia based movie.
