While it may not be very well made...

... this movie still stands out for its memorable moments. Sure, this movie may be cheaply done with terrible acting and dubbing, but it still is a great way to spend an hour and and a half.
The movie starts off with a very confusing opening sequence, which is about as confusing as the rest of the movie. This movie has no clear storyline whatsoever, which actually improves on the movie a little bit. This movie plays out like a dream setting, which I really liked. Don't follow the story, just watch.
The movie then moves foreward and really begins to get going. The movie has a very promising start, but begins to somewhat fall short. There ARE several great scenes of sick violence and gore, which is what you want in a flick like this. This movie also has a very good atmosphere and has a sort of tension that can't exactly be described. If you're in the right mood, this movie can be very scary, or very funny. Just watch it in the dark and experiment.
The ending is extremly confusing and makes no sense whatsoever. As far as I'm concerned, the ending is the worst part of the movie.
So overall, if you like Itallian horror movies, then City of the Living Dead is worth a watch for the great gore and atmosphere.
