unique film by spike lee. bamboozled tackles the race issue head on and does a pretty good job of it with artistic vision. i definitely became pretty attatched to the characters by the end of the film. it tries to shatter the idea of what black is, because "black" isnt what being black is like. "black" is the perception of what black is.
i feel like things are becoming somewhat better in this nation, but its an individual thing that can change only one person at a time. it seems like children are becoming slowly less integrated, though i can only speak from a small pool of knowledge. |
