This is definately a movie worth seeing. I probably wouldn't watch it a second time, because once you know how the ending there wouldn't be such a sense of hanging in there with the lead character, waiting to see what happens to him. I'm glad I didn't find the ending too predictable - although some may see it coming a mile off.
The acting from Tom Hanks was superb, especially since so much of it had to be physical rather than verbal (although there was more of that than I was expecting). I don't often give anything an A+ rating but I feel that Tom on his own warrants it. |
