The things that Greg Focker (great last name) has to endure make you feel for this guy. A psycho CIA father (DeNiro at his comic best)is just the beginning of this hilarious, disaster, comedy of errors. Stiller and DeNiro have great chemistry when they're at each others throats... and that cat! Everytime you think it can't get worse, it does. This is every man's nightmare weekend at his girlfriend's parent's. Jay Roach does a memorable directing job that is better than his previous work on Austin Powers. This film's only flaw was it's cheesy "happily ever after" ending. The ending left room for a sequel, which could really mess things up. I know a sequel is already in the works, so I can only hope it's better than Analyze That. |
