Although I wasn't around in the 1970's, Almost Famous made me feel like I did. I saw it for the first time last April on ABC'S Saturday Night Movie. I fell in love with the story, the characters, and the classic rock soundtrack. I adore Kate Hudson as the incredible Ms. Penny Lane. Patrick Fugit played as William Miller, the young Rolling Stone rock journalist who goes on tour with the band Stillwater after getting in backstage with the ''Band Aids''. His overprotective mother depicts a normal mom back in the day. Hates rock music. Cameron Crowe made a wonderful movie about his journey as a young man on tour and interviewing for Rolling Stone realizing that there was more to write home than just music. |
