Ever since John Travolta made his comeback in Pulp Fiction, I have been a big fan of his. I used to think he was a one sided actor who could only do films that involved dance and being the main hunk of the film. Michael has proved me wrong once again. Travolta plays an angel who reluctantly makes a road trip with three reporters from a tabloid magazine. Travolta first scene is classic when he comes down a flight of stairs in nothing but overalls. His belly hangs and he puffs on a cigarrete. Any member of the audience immediatley knows that travolta is not a "holy" angel. Along the trip the foursome encounter adventure and conflicts which are all resolved in a somewhat disheartening ending. |
