This isn't a clever comedy but it is pretty funny. The jokes are dumb and the story was stupid but I still found myself laughing and enjoying this movie. This definitely isn't Adam Sandler's best movie (HAPPY GILMORE) but it is funny and really original, stupid but original.
The actors were all doing what was expected of them but Adam Sandler wasn't as funny as he usually is. I think this role really wasn't made for him. He is way funnier as violent, crude, and stupid characters (Happy Gilmore and Billy Madison). The special effects in this movie were pretty good and the jokes were very stupid but funny. Be warned though, this movie definitely goes into R-rated territory on more than one occasion. R-rated violence, language, and nudity are all featured so put the kids to bed before watching it.
The blind preacher is the best part of the movie I cracked up every time I saw him. Overall, this was extremely stupid but it remained fuuny and original. Not Adam Sandler's best but still good.
