Whatever people may say, in my opinion this is the best Adam Sandler movie ever! People bad-mouth it because it talks differently about religion, and depicts a certain lifestyle and music. I can see how it can be underrated by people without free thought.
Excellent actors were hired to work on this film - beside the renown stars, lesser known names such as Rhys Infans were brilliant. Among these, the most pleasant surprise were Jonathan Loughran and Peter Dante, playing probably the most original clicheed characters ever! It was probably John and Pete that made me watch the movie more than twice.(And no matter what some reviewers say, no they are not retarded!)
Of course the appearance of Ozzy can never hurt :).
It's definately the best comedy filmed in 2000. |
