Not Iron Monkey

This film is not a sequal to Iron Monkey at all, not the films fault though, but packaging companies who are trying to make money. The film is really a showcase for Lily Li, she is a great martial arts heroine who has starred in many shaw brothers classics usually along side Chen Kuan Tai who is indeed featured in this movie. I believe the real name of this film is Duel in Tiger Village...if you are looking at this film as an Iron Monkey sequal or a Chen Kuan Tai flick, you'd be disapointed but if you already know that it is an independent film then it is fine on its own merits. |
