I have very fond memories about seeing this film when I was little. So I was surprised when it brought me back to that ancient time when I recently watched it again. I had forgotten most of the story after all these years, so it was refreshing to see it again. Unlike many childhood films, this one didn't change my recollections about the movie. Perhaps it's because I didn't remember enough of it. In any case, I enjoyed it for the memories it brought back to me. The story is fairly good and the characters are likeable. I just didn't like Optimus Prime dying. I didn't like it then and I still don't like it, even though it works for the story. Overall, an enjoyable film good to see with kids (unless you are a kid). |
