Bill Murray is the sole reason to see this film, if you're interested in seeing him blow through an hour and a half lackadaisically improving and sometimes playing off of a mediocre script, (thanks to Harold Ramis who's written far better), basically carrying the entire vehicle on his shoulders. The supporting players chip in occasionally trying desperately to elevate the script, but nothing can alleviate the low-budget feeling of Reitman's first effort. As much as I can sit here and offer what I feel is an HONEST review of this film, I can watch this one over and over again and will continue to do so! |
