Not a Masterpiece but a Prevailing Message

This movie from early on, is filled with deciet and dishonesty; as well as love and persistance. The passion in the movie is very enjoyable and the message is clear, how far would you go for your true love. The movie is a bit back and forth and at times, you wonder why this girl Julia/Bonnie puts up with Billy. It is a classic love story that shows how intense people can be over one another, even if both parties can not show it. The film is well paced and offers up a nice picture to watch on your own, or to cuddle up with...ha-ha...The plot is a bit thick, but good and the denoument wraps up fairly smoothly. The real winner here, is the cast. This movie is definatly stolen by the brilliance of Angelina Jolie. She is a phenominal actress and she steals every scene she is in. I warn you, that the movie is very steamy, early on, so keep you man in check. I recommend all mature audiences who believe in the power of love to see this film. Bottom Line: This is worth the watch, but go into this film with an open mind and don' set any expectations, the movie may not end how you think. |
