the film really makes you think.it's a drama/mystery.it's obvious that one of the reasons that lisbon sisters killed theirselves was their parents were beyond too strict.i've a feeling they all had mental illnesses too.suicides are rarely understood especially when they the suicide victims are young,beautiful,popular people.
as for those of you who say their parents were'nt that severly strict,you obviousley didn't pay close attention to the film.they didn't just prevent them from dating and going out in cars.in the end,they imprisioned them inside their house.
