So many so-called "dance films" have tried to capture the world of ballet...but none have come close to this masterpiece called "Center Stage". Other movies hire actors and give them "ballet training" so that they can pull off dance moves in a movie, but any trained dancer can see the difference between a real ballerina and an actor playing the role of a dancer. Center Stage has REAL dancers and it shows! They are magniificent and believable characters...the dancing scenes alone make this movie an A+++, not to mention the story/plot keeps you captivated and intrigued...very true to life in the world of ballet! THANK YOU!!! |
