This movie is proof that Polanski still has it. Johnny Depp was outstanding in his role as Corso. I mean at times I even forgot it was him acting. Polanski's decore was probably his best yet: he found the perfect one for each scene in New York, Paris, Portugal & the French country side. Now something that was truly great was the story: it's not your typical mystery or horror (no slasher crap) and unlike most flicks it's not entirely predictable. See it you won't be disappointed if you're a fan of Polanski. |
