There's something about this film that always inspires me to write. I love the mood of this film. They've captured it all so perfectly; the scenes with rain are particularly beautiful. It's one thing to film rain, but to really make it feel like rain is special. It's a writer's movie not just because it's about writers, but because of the incredible attention to details, mood, emotions. This film is one of my absolute favourites, with such great feeling in it. If you can appreciate good films for art's sake, and not just becuase some famous "movie star" was in it, watch this film and you should not be disappointed. It doesn't matter who's in it; what matters is how good it is. |
