Wonder Boys is a fantastic comedy based on the novel by Michael Chabon. The story takes place in Pittsburgh, and centers around Grady Tripp (Michael Douglas), a professor of English at the University. Tripp's life is not going so well: his wife left him earlier in the day, his mistress (who is also his dean) is pregnant, and his editor is coming into town to get the lowdown on the long-awaited sequel to Tripp's bestseller.
This movie is pitch-perfect for anyone who has even a minor interest in writing and pretty much everyone else, too. Enjoy! |
