'Wonder Boy's" strong point is it's writing. It's rare that you hear a film's writing is it's saving grace, but for a film as dialog-driven as this one, what else could be? 'Wonder Boys' isn't flashy, it isn't suspenseful, it's just a very well-written and acted film that I really enojoyed. A lot of the jokes I just didn't get, but that might be a testament to how intelligently written the script is. Does that make sense? Anyway, 'Wonder Boys' is pretty damn good. |
