I thoroughly enjoyed the book by Sebastian Junger (and I've developed a true love for non-fiction ever since.) The movie by itself was good and heart-wrenching, but the DVD is even better. Sebastian Junger does a commentary on it and the great benefit is that he can point out where things differ from his book and why that was done, something I find important in books adapted for the screen. |
