Okay...everyone claims this was a HUGE letdown after Aladdin and Lion King. I could not disagree more. First off...best soundtrack of any Disney movie (Big thumbs up to Out There and God Help the Outcasts) in that it provides some great messages behind the songs as well as outstanding vocals. It has the best villian of any Disney movie in Judge Claude Frollo. A human at that, vs. a lion or an octopus. Gives me chills some of his actions.
Also even though it is a fantasy movie, it showed some REALISM that other Disney movies lack. Those people that don't fit into our society being picked on, the unattractive guy actually NOT getting the girl in the end.
Great movie without a doubt, my favorite Disney movie based on the message. |
