If I had to pick up only one word to describe this movie, that word would be this: Beautiful.
Because that's exactly what this movie is; Beauty beyond equal on the animated genre.
The story on this film is incredibly well adapted, it manages to expose the characters without dumbing them down despite being a children film. But being honest, with a movie featuring a story so well adapted and of this quality, it doesn't matter if you're a kid or an adult, it will catch you either way.
The voice acting in Beauty... is superb, and is yet to be matched by any other animated film released in the US, only Aladdin and The Lion King come close to be this good on the voice acting department. But still, Beauty... reigns supremes as the best.
The music is absolutely fantastic; and is one of the best musical scores Disney has ever delivered to the audiences.
The animation can only be described as a work of art, the attention to detail in every frame of film is absolute. As a testament of the quality of its animation, all that has to be said is that it is superior to most of the animated films released today, even newer Disney ones.
Overall:
Quite possibly the best animated film ever made, or at least one of the top three. If you have not seen this movie, give it a try and experience what wan only be called a "Beauty". |
