Silent is Best

I watched the Phantom on TCM's Silent Sunday Nights and was amazed by it. I really enjoyed the story. I think silent films are better to watch with someone who enjoys then and someone you can discuss the movie with, I watched this with my Dad. There was one colored scene at the ball that I thought was mindblowing. For a movie as old as this one, (1925) to have so great of a colored scene is amazing. Very worthy of your viewing, if you don't mind silence that is. Great score too! |
