Flawed sequel.

This film was 3-D only on the theaters. But on video, this film is flawed. That is one of the main problems on the 3-D movies of the '80s, they depend too much on becoming "unique" with 3-D, that they forget to improve on plot, script and acting. As a sequel to "The Amityville Horror", it picks another family as a victim. This time, its the family of a paranormal investigator, who doesn't believe in the house's horror. Overall, a weak film, but still watchable for some passable special-effects work and an early appearance by Meg Ryan. |
