What all wolf movies need to be

I've seen this movie about 23.6 times, including all the times my mother forced me to watch it as an incredibly terrified toddler. Now that I can accurately judge a movie, I will say that this film is by far the best werewolf story ever concieved. (Underworld is a distant 2nd). Until 1981, no movies had shown the man-into-wolf change this thouroughly, which I still find incredible on Rick Baker's part. As far as Mr. Landis, I enjoy his directing greatly; Blues Brothers is also a great film. Sadly, a sequel was pitifully attempted, but Landis wasn't around. Oh well, maybe the movie I am currently making with a friend, Cedar Point, will be the next great wolf movie... |
