Best movie with best recordings
by Rite Aid (movies profile) Jul 21, 2008
Of all the movies I have seen with music recordings in it, American Graffiti is the best. Several teenagers faces challenges in their lives when they leave their friends and go to seperate colleges. This takes place in the 1950s and has 1950s music such as Buddy Holly, Bill Haley, The Beach Boys, The Platters, Chuck Berry, Frankie Lymon and more. The characters even stop at drive in restaurant called Mel's Drive In throughout the film. Mel's Drive In was founded in 1947 in San Fransico, California. There are a few left, especally near Hollywood, California. Mel's sit in diner still exists, but they don't have as many locations as McDonald's. There are only 57 in the US in these states: California, Nevada, Oklahoma, Texas, Tennessee, Florida, Arkansas, Louisiana, Mississippi, and Arizona.
