There was nothing really wrong with this film, but it just won't be something that I'll remember a couple weeks/months from now. The story of a football boy trying to break the mold to actually get an education was different from the modern teen-flicks today where only the football and cheerleading is important was a nice change, yet it still wasn't something that struck me as a fantastic concept. It was interesting watching the cycle of being trapped in a small town only of hearing about it since I've always lived in metropolis areas. One of Tom Cruise's films, but definitely not one of his career defining positions. Not bad, but just not particularly interesting. |
