Jim Cameron's definitive version of this film, although not differing that much from the original theatrical release, is by far better. Having not seen the original Alien before watching this I wasn't entirely sure what to expect and once the end credits began rolling, I went out and baught all the others in the Alien Quadriliogy expecting them to be as good and I was terribly dissapointed. This is THE only Alien film worth watching (apart form the first)that doesn't try to insult the viewer. One of the best cinematic experiences ever. Stand up Jim, and take a bow. |
